Containerization is the best transportation type for products all over the world. %90 of the products that made on earth is carried by container vessels. So that shows how important is this subject.
Container vessels are growing up day by day. And the results of sea trade show that they will grow up more than now.
But containerization isn't just a sea transportation type. It is a complicated system that includes trains, trucks, vessels and ports. All of these parts are generating global logistic trade.
This transportation network begin where products made and end where you take them. For example ; bananas are growing up in Africa. Then farmers take them from trees and put in boxes and after put those boxes to containers that on a truck. Trucks get the container to ports. Container vessels load containers and carry to another continents. And again trucks come to ports, take the containers and get them to shops. It is a easy circulation system.
As you see, containerization is all connected with our life. Think again while you are eating fruits, seafoods, or wearing shoes etc. how they come to you..
